    Question

and I cant bring myself to cut the dolls wig.

    Any ideas?

We are thinking about change a Molly, Kirsten, or Elizabeth into a boy. Dd and dh both have gorgeous blue eyes so we definatly want to do a blue eye'd doll.

My daughter wants a boy doll too! I don't have it yet, but I ordered a "Tyler" wig from Kemper, and I have a fixer-upper Just Pretend doll that I've already "dewigged"...I think they look a little more boyish than AGs.

I would be interested in what others are using too...

I buy from www.kemperdolls.com and www.monique.com. I like both of them for the quality and kemper for the better prices. I usually choose to click on the distributer list at the monique site rather than order directly from monique. The distributers usually have better prices.

I have a Molly who's hair has been cut, and I was going to list her on Ebay, even though I bought a new wig for her, just like her original.
Is anyone here interested before I list her??

With a little more trimming, she could have a boys' haircut.

Here's pictures of the front and back.
I just noticed her tag says......Made in USA for Pleasant Company.......I'd only seen Made in Germany, and China. What does this mean? Anybody know? How does this date her?

Made in the USA? Those dolls are VERY rare! Ria just got a Samantha who was made in the US, so maybe she'll have more information for you.

Wow, you do have a rare Molly! It might be worth rewigging her yourself with a traditional "Molly" type wig!

As for boy dolls, we have a Kirsten doll that we turned into a boy. We love him very much! We just gave him a haircut and he's been a boy ever since.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Of course it's beautiful the way it is! It looks kinda boyish but the haircut is VERY professional. I think the USA ones have the nicest hair. Not shiny like China and not drab and dry like Germany.
